Stained Glass Ornaments



In these sweet, kid-friendly ornaments, wax paper and melted crayon take the place of glass, but when sunlight filters through them, they're just as pretty.

Materials:
Wax paper
Crayons
Pencil Sharpener
Kraft Paper (I used a cut-apart paper grocery bag)
Iron
Acrylic paint
Holiday shaped cookie cutters (the larger the better)
Sharpie
Scissors
Pencil
Glue(Elmer's or any craft glue you have lying around)
Hole Punch
Yarn Scraps of Ribbon

Instructions:








Once the crayon is melted and you remove the top sheet of kraft paper you should end up with something like this:












For ornaments withhout paper borders, simply place a cookie cutter on the melted crayon paper, trace around it with pencil, and cut out. Follow the instructions in step nine to finish.
